It turns out that the Tempest Weather System, technologically advanced as it tries to be, fails miserably at low levels of rain/drizzle. Weatherflow cheat by subsequently adding in averaged readings from other public sources, but that does not work for me – I want to see what is actually happening here in real time.

So it’s been replaced by an Ambient WS-5000. This has opened up more display possibilities for the website – be sure to scroll down on the front page to see a Quick View. That display of data comes from the Ambient Weather site for the station, which also has multiple graphs for your inner weather nerd to enjoy.
